Porous honeycomb filter

Abstract

A porous honeycomb filter having a controlled pore distribution, characterized in that a pore volume of the pores having a pore diameter of 15 μm or less is 0.07 cc/cc or less, and a pore volume of the pores having a pore diameter of 40 μm or more is 0.07 cc/cc or less. The above porous honeycomb filter does not show the decrease in the capturing efficiency even when the porosity thereof is varied, and thus can combine good capturing efficiency and a low pressure loss.
気孔率が変動しても、捕集効率が低下することがなく、捕集効率と圧力損失とを両立させることが可能な多孔質ハニカムフィルターとする。  多孔質ハニカムフィルターは細孔分布が制御されたフィルターである。細孔径15μm以下の細孔容積が0.07cc/cc以下、細孔径40μm以上の細孔容積が0.07cc/cc以下であることを特徴とする。
Filtre à nids d’abeille poreux ayant une répartition contrôlée des pores, caractérisé en ce que le volume des pores de diamètre de pore de 15 µm ou moins est de 0,07 cc/cc ou moins et que le volume des pores de diamètre de pore de 40 µm ou plus est de 0,07 cc/cc ou moins. Le filtre à nids d’abeille poreux susmentionné ne présente pas de baisse dans l’efficacité de capture même lorsque sa porosité varie et peut donc combiner une bonne efficacité de capture et une faible perte de pression.
